As the Head of Design at Axio, I spearheaded the brand’s entire visual and user experience journey. From crafting an intuitive product design and developing a cohesive website to executing compelling motion graphics and establishing a distinct visual identity, my work at Axio reflects a multi-disciplinary approach essential in a fast-paced startup. Embracing cost-effective, innovative solutions, I trained AI models to create a unique illustration style, bypassing traditional stock images and ensuring a cohesive visual style across all media.
Axio Visual Identity
I typically collaborate with world-class logo designers whose expertise has taught me invaluable insights over the years. Although I don’t usually design logos myself, I know a strong one when I see it. For Axio, a rebrand became an urgent need, so I decided to tackle it in-house. My approach focused on simplicity, versatility, and animation-friendly design. The final “A” mark captures growth and progression through three triangles, one subtly hidden in the negative space—a happy accident that added depth to the concept.
